These terms govern your use of FirePath (firepath.pro). By using FirePath, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What FirePath is

FirePath is an educational financial independence calculator. It helps you understand your financial freedom number — the amount you'd need saved to live off investment returns — and provides illustrative projections of when you might reach it based on your inputs.

FirePath is not a financial planning service, investment platform, or licensed financial adviser. It does not account for your full financial situation, tax obligations, insurance, or individual circumstances beyond what you enter.

Not financial advice

All content, calculations, AI insights, and projections provided by FirePath are for educational and informational purposes only. They are not financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any other form of professional advice.

FirePath's projections assume simplified models (such as the 4% safe withdrawal rate) that may not reflect your actual outcomes. Past investment performance is not a reliable indicator of future returns. Your actual financial situation may differ materially from any projection shown.

FirePath and its creator are not licensed financial advisers and are not regulated by ASIC or any other financial authority. Use this tool as a starting point for thinking about your finances — not as the basis for any financial decision.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

Free and Pro plans

FirePath offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The free tier provides access to the core calculator. Pro ($6/month) unlocks AI insights, scenario modelling, super timeline analysis, and the accountability tracker.

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use FirePath for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy FirePath's code or content.
• Use FirePath to provide financial advice to others as if it were your own professional advice.
• Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the platform.

Intellectual property

All content, design, code, and branding on FirePath is owned by its creator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, FirePath and its creator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this service, including any financial decisions you make based on information provided by FirePath.

FirePath is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of FirePath after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
